Fairer Borders

 Introduction

The Scottish Borders is made up of strong, unique communities, full of historical, cultural and sporting traditions. The Vibrant Communities theme team aims to preserve these qualities as well as enhancing communities physically, socially and economically. One of the theme team's primary concerns is with enhancing the capacity of individuals, community groups and the voluntary sector, as well as ensuring appropriate service provision for everyone. Community Safety is also a key priority for the theme team, and you will find links to the Community Safety Forum on the right hand side of this page.

The Scottish Borders Compact is an agreement between public sector and voluntary scetor organisations as to how we will work together. Those involved with the Compact can view minutes and agendas from meetings by clicking on Shared Documents on the left of this screen.
